is there a way to block categories on register page?

I hope this has not already been asked but I could not find the answer. My client wants to restrict the content of his stock photos site until a perspective customer registers (most of these types of sites do this).

I need to be able to turn off the "Categories: box for the one page showing "Sign up" and "returning customers".

Once they have registered they should get full access.

Anyone have a clue if this is possible?

There's a lot more to this than simply turning the categories box off on the login page - what about all the other pages? If I go to the login page, and from there click on any of the other internal links on the page, I'll then see the categories sidebox and have access to the site content. The best solution is probably to do some custom coding that uses the customer authorization system that already exists in the cart.

Your goal is to not show it when either on Secure Pages or when specifically on the login page ...

As I understand it, you want to not show the categories sidebox at all until a customer has an account (i.e. is logged in).

When a customer logs in, they get their customer id in the session, so you can use that in the test in /includes/modules/sideboxes/CUSTOM/categories.php:```php
