If I didn't change it in Meta_tags.php where did I change it.

I changed the Title on my main page and its close to what I want but I need to make a change. I see that info should be in the meta_tags.php in my custom folder but I don't have one and the default one is not changed. I've used a site wide search in DW and it can't find that text either. Where would it be if not where it should be or am I missing something. I'm talking about the title in the top of the browser to be clear.

Admin > Tools > Developers Tool Kit
Enter the text from your title bar into the bottom-left box, select All Files - Catalog and then search
