Product listing layout changes

Anyone know where to remove/alter the link around the thumbnail image on the product listing page? When I display the list after clicking on a product category, I don't want the thumbnail to link to link to the product page. I want it to pull the full size image in a pop-up window.

How will one get to your product pages?? And why is this an issue?

I'm going to get everything I need to display on the product listing. There is no need for the customer to go to the actual product page except for them to see a larger picture.
