Is it possible to make an Under Construction page?

Is it possible to make an under cons. page while I'm working on building my site? So that the whole world doesn't see what I'm doing while I'm doing it? lol, thanks!:smile:

admin/Configuration/Website Maintenance...

Down for Maintenance: ON/OFF, set to true

admin/Configuration/Website Maintenance...

Down For Maintenance (exclude this IP-Address), enter your IP address

Now the down for maintenance page is shown to everyone else, and you get to see your site in all its glory. And if you have to work on your site from other locations, you can enter more than one IP there.

Thank you so VERY much. I was trying to figure that out for 2 days. I'm getting a lot of help from that wiki zen place, but some stuff is just not there. So I thank you!

another approach is to create an index.html that says under construction

then when ready to go live delete the html file
