how to eliminate automate added word to sub-categories?

This is not how a normal set of default files behaves....

I would now check on your server any "core" files that might have been replaced/edited by you or by the template

That "True" looks like the subcategory marker. Go to admin > Configuration > Layout Settings > Categories Separator between the Category Name and Sub Categories

What separator do you want between the Category name and Sub Category Name?
Default = |_

Since you are using Categories Dressing, I checked the files for it, and there is nothing that could be affecting the subcat name output, even if a minor error was added to the code.

Are there any other mods you have installed, especially ones that affect the admin?

There must have been a corrupted file which was causing the "True" to be added. Glad you have it working now.

I would have had you use the developers tool kit to search your files for the word "true" but there are many program code instances of that term that would have made this a large search result set. And you needed to look for non code instances or a text variable
