SSL Padlock Showing in FF not IE

I did search for this, but it came up in an older thread with no resolution that ended abruptly.

The padlock shows up just fine during checkout in firefox, but doesn't show up at all in IE7. It is a new certificate, which is supposed to show the padlock as I verified this with the supplier earlier today.

All of my urls in my config files are full urls with www in them.

the site is http://www.desertroseflorist.com

thank you,

betty

Re: SSL Padlock Showing in FF not IE

Worked fine for me in IE 7 but did state 'secure and unsecure items' which means you have hard coded links that do not use an 'https' connection.

Search this Forum using 'unsecure' and you should find some threads about how to correct.

The learning is in the doing.

Thank you Rob,

I don't know why I don't get the padlock or the secure and insecure message. It is probably the flash header that is contributing to it, plus the links to google maps and an off site location the owner has me linking the site to contributing to the secure and insecure message. There is no way I can make those links internal that I know of, and the client insists they be there, so I am between a rock and a hard place.

Thank you again for checking it for me,

betty

It is the flash stuff but I forget if one or both references have to be https on this section that you can see in the View Source:

Re: SSL Padlock Showing in FF not IE

So I should have my "<a href="http://www.desertroseflorist.com/">" going to "<a href="https://www.desertroseflorist.com/">" instead?

I believe it is the sections with calls out to:
macromedia.com

I'd have to fuss with it ...

Try just setting them to https and see if it works better ...
