Sub catergories not showing on main page

hi all,

ive just installed a zen cart and as a newbie have been trying to get it all set up to my liking, most problems i've been able to find solutions from previous post and here, but this one im struggling with now.

when i click a top category which has sub categories i what them to show in the main page! as simple as that should be i cant do it lol.

you seems to be having problem with your site .. blank page.. can not look to see what is happening .

still getting blank page.. did you modify any php or language file ? if so you might have added spaces at the end of file . try using Debug utility from here

emmm ive tryied it on 2 computers and iits coming up ok ???

i am now also experincing webpage cannot be displayed error. ive contacted the hosting company.... good start to say ive only had space a week and already server down! lol

check your Configuration > Images
and look to see all your settings are correct.
your product info page , missing images , so i assume something might be wrong for medium image as well as categories image .. beyond that , i have no idea what might be wrong .

As your page dies while drawing when you click on a Category with Subcategories ... it might help to get from the Free Software Add Ons the Debug Tool and see what errors are being reported ...

Another test is to switch to the Classic Template to see if this is purely a template issue ...

Many Templates turn off features by hard coding changes ...

In the Tools ... Developers Kit ... do a search in the bottom input box on:
category_row

That might help you see if it has been commented out or what files use it to see if there is a problem ...
