Changed zencart directory now products not showing

HI I have just changed the zencart directory from htdocs/shop to htdocs so that my url will work without shop comming after it.

The home page comes up but when i click on products it says url not found. I have a feeling its to do with the configure.php files as i needed to ammend them.. I have also amended the admin/config sessions to match the file so it reads htdocs/cache instead of htdocs/shop/cache.

here is the details from both confi.php file first is the one from htdocs/includeds/configure.php

Re: Changed zencart directory now products not showing

// NOTE: be sure to leave the trailing '/' at the end of these lines if you make changes!
define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '');
26.
define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '');

So these should be:

define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/');
26.
define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/');

Re: Changed zencart directory now products not showing

Fantastic all done. Was beginning to worry as nothing was happening then realized that i needed to change the chmod settings again.

Any chance of some help.Ive been having this problem that i cant overcome regarding the template and font format. The website seems to work fine with IE however in mozilla when you hit refresh a few times you will notice that the font and template layout looses its format.

If you know a fix to the problem then i will be very grateful if you could share it with me. I have posted in another thread a few days ago but no one seems to know the fix

cheers

Re: Changed zencart directory now products not showing

Looked at this in FF and could get the issue you describe to happen???
Looks fine as to layout & styling

You might go to your admin and enable admin > config > logging > Display The Page Parse Time > set to true
This will give you an idea of your page/server response

Re: Changed zencart directory now products not showing

Ok Thanks alot. Did you hit refresh a few times on the site. If you hit refresh then you will notice the format change.

I have enables the response time but got this error

Warning: error_log(/home/fhlinux139/r/ravsappliances.com/user/htdocs/shop/cache/page_parse_time.log) [function.error-log]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/fhlinux139/r/ravsappliances.com/user/htdocs/admin/includes/classes/logger.php on line 60

I always checked the page load time by just going to the url. So will this give me figures on how long its taking to load or respond?

if you get some time then please go back to my url and hit refresh a few times and see if you can notice the change in format

cheers

Re: Changed zencart directory now products not showing

I have enables the response time but got this error
Did you enable "Display The Page Parse Time" and NOT
"Store Page Parse Time"

Display just shows the parse time in the footer and I do not see this enabled on your site.

I do get a "blank" page if I refresh repeatdly as no one should do But if I allow the full page to load and then refresh it function correctly

Re: Changed zencart directory now products not showing

oops...silly me..your right..Ive just slapped myself a few times as i need to be more careful when amending files and pay more attention to names especially when you get so many files with similar names.

I don't think i explained what i meant by hitting refresh a few times. What i meant is. load the site and allow the page to load. Then hit refresh and allow the page to load. Sometimes after a few times of doing that you will notice the template and font size increase. Everything will look out of size.

I have enabled page parse time and it is now showing.

thanks for your help.

As long as I wait until the page loads I see no issue
