Customers say pages 2,3,4 ar jibberish

I have a sidebox with more information. Pages 2,3,4 are in there. When I look at them they are fine. But I have had 3 different customers in the last 10 hours tell the that the are blurred or jibberish. Since they look fine to me. How do I fix this? I use Firefox and one person said she used IE.

I am still having trouble getting my header up. I have got a cute black bow now. Didn't want that I wanted a dark purple one that had the name of the store in it.

I have some free designs on mt site, I went in yesterday and tried to purchase them. I signed up and went thru the checkout steps and got to confirm order and that is as far as I could go. It just kept confirming the order. It wouldn't let me finish the order. How do I fix this?

Also how do I get Free to show up as the price on the free itenms. It just shows up as a blank.

bearlymakinit.com is the store.

Try using a plain font instead of wingdings.

Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.

Re: Customers say pages 2,3,4 ar jibberish

I am recieving this error on creating an account:

Email Error: SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.

On checkout, I get the same order on the confirmation:

Email Error: SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.

NOTE: My account was created

NOTE: My order was completed

Further to what Kim says - a website will only display fonts that are installed on the viewing computer. See this site for the only guaranteed fonts to use.

(before any of the vastly more experienced correct me ... yes, I know there are ways around it, but not for this lady at this stage!)

You need to fix your email issues ... I went in and changed everything in email options, set up Outlook express. Everything says it works fine but I still get the stmp error message at check out. I don't know what else to do. What else can I check? And please remember I know nothing about what I am doing so most suggestions just lead me to look for another answer / explanation. In the last 2 week I have probably read every post in this site and just ended up more confused than before I started. And to be honest I really haven't accomplished fixing the problems I was trying to fix. There should be a law that anyone that dos not have computer knowledge should never set up their own site.

The email issues are with your server or configuration issues on Zen Cart not your email software on your personal computer ...

What email settings do you have in your Zen Cart Admin under the Configuration ... E-mail Options ...

What kind of server are you on? windows or unix?

Re: Customers say pages 2,3,4 ar jibberish

Windows. What I meant was I went into email options, and configured everything for the stmp in outlook express. I even sent an email to my aol account. I even went in and updated IO and Outlook. Everything seemed to work fine, but when I tryed to order again, just now I got the same error message. I opened Web Developer and information and view link information and this is what came up :http://bearlymakinit.com/index.php?main_page=checkout_process

0 links

I went into index.php, but could not see anything about main+page=checkout_process and couldn't find a main page checkout page. I don't know what I was looking for anyway.
I even had a lady email me and say she tried to order twice and got I got an "email error"; then got a red message box that said I had ordered twice or not at all. Then the very next email that I had was from paypal saying her order went thru. I had an message in Zen Cart under new orders showing it went thru. Even all of the orders I have done are showing up under new orders. Checkout seems to be working fine but the messages at the end of each order don't make sense.

And what I meant was ...

Go to your Zen Cart Admin ...

Go to the Configuration menu choice and go to the E-Mail Options ...

There are a lot of settings in there ...

Excluding the ones with your emails ... what are your email settings that you have defined ...
