Help Lost Site while customising

I don't know what I have done probably a extra space somewhere
I have just been editing
includes/languages/CUSTOM/english.php
modules/sideboxes/CUSTOM/categories.php
any help extremely appreciated

Look at the files in question and remove any blank lines or spaces.
You can run winMerge (your file against an original)

If you have a backup of the files you were changing upload them.

Otherwise you can get the original files from the full set install pack.

I had the same problem lost it completly blank screen, fortunatly I backed it all up. The hosting company restored the back up, but there is product showing with no catagories( where there were before) and an erroe message says that product cannot be found...any ideas on what went wrong?

Are you sure on that page you are not just looking at the New Products or Featured or Specials beneath the text? :unsure:

As to Products without Categories ... you'd have to check if the Product is missing from the products_to_categories table or the Category is missing maybe just the master_categories_id from the products table ...

It is hard to say based on how this happened without looking further into the site ...
