Only first 4 letters shown in categories name in a second language

Please help!
We use Zen Cart 1.3.8a
When I try to create new categories in English and in Russian, English Categories names are just fine but in Russian the site showes only first 4 letters of each category.........
When my friend from Russia tipes in a category name - it works fine and the whole name is shown.
We cannot undrestand what the problem is. When I installed ZenCart for the first time I was able to create categories and product names in English and in Russian and they were fine - long names as I wanted.
But now we installed ZenCart third time I can only see first 4 letters of the category or in the name of a product in Russian and that's it......
What happened? Please help! What to do?

You will have to increase the length of the field containing the category name in your database. (should be in table categories_description) Same for products

And where do i change that in the database or in a php file

If you are on a server go to phpmyadmin, on the right hand side look for categories or categories description, then select structure, there you see varchar is something probably like 64 , change it to a larger number like 255 or more, futhermore you might like to look in product description and order products, change the related fields like product name and other fields to 255 or more
