Attention employers

Are you an employer who has hired people from this forum? If so, would you mind sharing your experiences with me?

I’ve had a few bad experiences in here and seek to avoid any further problems. I have lost time and money because of it. A little knowledge sharing, when it comes to sorting out the bad apples, could be mutually beneficial…don’t you think?

Drop me a line.

Thanks,

Re: Attention employers

First thing you should do is to avoid double posting.

Second thing you should do as well, is to check the background of those who you want to hire. Check their real works, search their forum posts:

  1. do they really know what they are doing? Some people do have a high number of posts, but dont know what they are doing.
While some may have a low number of posts, but their posts have tons of great info and show how much they know about their stuffs.
  2. dont just choose based on price, you get what you pay for = true most of the time. For example, dont expect a fully customized website for.....(Im not putting number here tho, just use the common sense)
  3. last: sign contract etc, but at the same time trust the providers.

I no longer provide installation support on forum for all my modules. However, if there are real bugs with the modules please feel free to contact me

Re: Attention employers

First, to the person who is erasing my posts, saying I am double posting. It's because the title of this needs to be "attention employers"...erase the other one if it has to be one or the other. I don't know how to erase the other one.

Which of you employers can recommend your best person for Zen Cart?

So, I'm asking for a referral. Let's talk.

Taking all the precautions, even a contract, doesn't protect someone when it comes to amounts under 500.00 and doing business across state lines. Why? If a worker performs 70% of the job, it is best to pay the person than to sully my good name as a reliable, honest employer. That's the problem I keep facing. Failure to complete the contract...lack of skill.

I am a legit businessman, honest, fair and pay well. Still, finding good help is one of those age old problems employers face.
