How do I keep images in foorter from showing on SSL pages?

Stuck on this:

I found in forums how to put image links in my footer via the tpl_footer.php, but now- when I go to SSL pages I get the "This page contains both secure and nonsecure items..." pop-up in IE.

How to I keep those footer images out of secure pages (like they do at http://www.clevershoppers.com/, for instance)?

As a side issue: Is it possible to put images in the footer using EZPages? It seems that EZ Page only works for text links as a "Page Title" is "required."

Thanks for helping,
Tony

Just make sure your image links in the footer have https in them and you can leave them where they are and the message you are getting will no longer appear.

Re: How do I keep images in foorter from showing on SSL pages?

Thanks but that doesn't work. The images are not my own (not stored on my server) but are links to images on another server (and apparently not ssl). Here are the codes that were provided, which I placed in my tpl_footer.php (and again: they work just fine until I try to go to one of my secured pages).

<li><?php echo '<a href="' . HTTP_SERVER . DIR_WS_CATALOG . '">'; ?><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_CATALOG; ?></a></li> <li> <A HREF="https://www.christiantop1000.com/" target="_blank"> <IMG SRC="https://www.christiantop1000.com/cgi-bin/1000/counter.cgi?id=speedcreed" BORDER="0"> </A></li><li> <a href="https://family-topsites.com/" target="_blank"><img src="https://family-topsites.com/button.php?u=speedcreed" alt="FamilyNet International Topsites" border="0" /></a></li>

So to reiterate:> How to I keep those footer images out of secure pages (like they do at http://www.clevershoppers.com/, for instance)?

Anyone else, please?

Anyone? Please?

And here's a correction to the code that I was provided (no "S" after the http). The code that I provided in my last post was code that I modified (by adding the S) as suggested by User need_help above.

<a href="http://family-topsites.com/"><img src="http://family-topsites.com/button.php?u=speedcreed" alt="FamilyNet International Topsites" border="0" /></a>

To others who may be watching this (lonely) thread for an answer: I found the solution! Had to struggle and cross-reference some key wording in the forum search, but after two days- found a solution by Dr Byte (Thank you good doctor) at the following:
