Enabling Flat Rate Shipping

It has been a while since I have worked with zencart, and I am now a bit rusty. We are looking to utilize the flat rate shipping module -- we had launched the store with free shipping, and wish to change this. I installed the flat rate module and activated it. I deactivated the free shipping module. However, when I run a live checkout, the free shipping for items over $0 is still there and shipping is not added to the total.

What else needs to be done in order for this to work?

oh and we also changed the product to "No, Normal Shipping Rules"-- so that is not the problem.

Did you check the order total module? Check 'shipping' under there and disable the free shipping option.
