Hiding Manufacturer option in Advance search

Hi,

I am wondering if there is a possibility to disable the "limit to manufacturer" option in the advanced search. I would not want my customers to have access to the manufacturer list.

Manufacturer listing on the product page has been turned off, but it shows up in the advanced search page. Appreciate any help I can get!

Tried searching through the forums but to no avail...

Comment out this line:
