Trouble deleting invisible tax rates

Hello:

I am having trouble deleting unnecessary Zone Definitions, under Zone Definitions - Taxes, Payments, and Shipping. Although I deleted all of my Tax Classes and Rates, it still shows that I have up to 5 tax rates.

My goal is to separate our in-state tax rate of %10.25 from the rest of the country (%0). Before this morning, 10.25 applied to all states, but now that I have deleted the tax classes and rates, there is no tax anywhere...yet I cannot delete Zone Definitions.

I have defined Countries, and then zones based on states/ provinces of these countries.

Another thread mentioned that they deleted it in their SQL, but I dont know what that means, or how to do it.

I am basically trying to clean house to have only necessary items in place. If anyone has suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you! That worked well. I now have a clean slate
