Upgraded and now Free Shipping is being stubborn

Hi,

I just upgraded from 1.7 to 1.8, the most recent version. And FreeShipper is now stubbornly showing up all the time as an option, even though it's only supposed to show up when the cart value is $15.00 or more. I removed FreeShipper and then reinstalled it with no luck. Other than this, everything is working perfectly. I did a complete test of the site.

What are your settings on the Free Shipping Options freeoptions shipping module?

If you do not think you have that installed ... Install and Remove again ...

Also check that your Admin and Catalog are both using the same database and server in the two files, on the server, for:
/includes/configure.php
/admin/includes/configure.php

I put in 15.00 in the box labeled ">=" and made it true and sort order 2. That's it. I tried also making it a minimum of 1 purchase and a maximum of 3lbs weight. No luck. Shipping cost is 0.00 and handling is 0.00.

I checked the configure files, they're both pointing to the upgraded database.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the Free Shipping Options freeoptions module. Still both the "Free Shipping" and "Best Way" are stubbornly showing up when I have a purchase of under $15, when under $15 only "Best Way" should show up and then over $15 both "Free Shipping" and "Best Way" can show up.

Any other suggestions? Thanks for the help!

select NONE from the dropdown and click search ...

Setting Total to >= 0.00 and <= nothing (leave blank) will activate this module to show with all shipping modules, except for Free Shipping - freeshipper.

NOTE: Leaving all settings for Total, Weight and Item count blank will deactivate this module.

NOTE: Free Shipping Options does not display if Free Shipping is used based on 0 weight is Free Shipping. See: freeshipper

You have Free Shipping Options freeoptions set for when the Total is >= 15.00 and it will show ...

You have Free Shipping freeshipper installed, so if there is 0 weight and 0 weight is defined as Free Shipping this will show ... or if the Product is marked as Always Free Shipping ...

NOTE: Free Shipping freeshipper does not show when the other shipping modules show ...

You have Flat Rate flat installed ... what are the setting for this?

You have Zone Rate zones installed ... what are the settings for this?

Make sure you have unique Sort Orders on the shipping modules if you are using them on even 1 module, do not leave any at 0 and make sure that there are no duplicates ...

If you are not using a shipping module and have it installed, it should be removed ...
