PHPbb error after new user signp

Just installed Zen Cart conf everything. and when someone creates a new user. this is the error i get

1054 Unknown column 'group_description' in 'field list'
in:
[INSERT INTO phpbb_groups (group_name, group_description, group_single_user, group_moderator) VALUES (0, 'Personal User', 1, 0)]

Zen Cart v1.3.8 and earlier only works with PHPBB2.
Your message suggests that you're trying to use a version of PHPBB that has a different database structure.

You have 3 options:

  1. Don't use the PHPBB linkage
  2. Downgrade your PHPBB to a compatible version
  3. Attempt to hack together a workaround by using one of the several community-attempted patches to work around the changes in the newer PHPBB version.

There are no plans to formally "fix" this limitation.

In fact, built-in PHPBB linkage is being removed from Zen Cart in v2.0.0
