Always Free Shipping / Always Virtual Product -- How?

Hello. I have a Zencart store where I only sell virtual products. The products should always have Free Shipping by default. How can I do this?

In other words, how can I make it so that by default, none of my products require the shipping page?

I write by default, because I add products into my store through direct database injection. I don't use the /admin panel. I still want all of the products to get the Virtual/Free shipping modifiers...

If all of your Products are Virtual, meaning nothing gets shipped to the customer and that they are NOT downloads ...

Then you want them all marked as:

Product is Virtual: **Yes, Skip Shipping Address **

NOTE: If they are Downloads, then you do NOT want to mark the Products as Virtual and you do NOT want to mark the products as Always Free Shipping ...

The problem is that I have uploaded 27.000 products already. I can't possible go and click them 1 by 1........ is there any way to make them get this virtual attribute by default?

You can globally change the field to one for product_is_always_free_shipping using:

UPDATE products SET product_is_always_free_shipping = 1;

And for the field products_virtual you can change that using:

UPDATE products SET products_virtual = 1;

But before you do that you need to know "why" you are doing it ... Virtual Products never ship ... Always Free Shipping products do ship but with Free Shipping ...

Backup your database ...

If you want the Product to be Always Free Shipping for everyone, only change the field for product_is_always_free_shipping ... this will display the Free Shipping icon on the Product _info pages and in the Listings ...

NOTE: you will want to install the Free Shipping freeshipper shipping module for this as well ...
