easy populate uploading hosted images

is it possible to upload hosted images with easy populate?

I tried uploading the hosted image link in field v_products_image and what I was hoping for did not occur.

This is your business - - Why are you relying upon someone else and their system for images???
Get serious and host images on your server

Zencart is not designed to run images off a remote server. How are you going to display all the variations of an image in all its different places if the original is not on your server?

The store is selling dvds from a supplier with an inventory total of about 15K. The supplier gives us all the images that they host for a fee, dvd images have to be licensed. Each dvd has a upc that matches to a single hosted image for each dvd based on the upc. There are not multiple images just one.

Everyday new items are being deleted and downloaded based on suppliers inventory. Im not really for time sake if I can download all those images to my hard drive everyday.

So we cannot import a hosted link anywhere into zen cart to have it display the product image.

to my knowledge, cant work with this software. Find something new.. Had same problem before, I ran a drop shipping company ..To bad..
