an other way: try the german-version (languages: german & english) :: https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=146657&package_id=186021
also the admin part is multilingual and utf8;
most of the bugfixes are included ( http://zencart-german.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/zencart-german/branches/zc138/?sortby=date#dirlist )
