Newbie needs help!!

Please can somebody with knowledge of the feature otion name manager give me a detailed description of what to do to enable a drop down list so that my customers can choose a colour when ordering an item? Virtually all items have different colour names ie; not just red or blue, there choices will be salsa red or icelandic blue.

I have tried enabling this myself and I have managed to get the dropdown on the item, but it only has one choice. Thanks alot, Richard

"Newbie needs help" is a really bad title for a thread (noticed that this isn't the only place you've used it). Gives people answering no clue as to whether they might have the specific knowledge to help, and no clues to anybody else coming along later with a question that this might be helpful.

For you specific question. I request that you start with the relevant FAQ Entry, and if that doesn't completely deal with your issue, come back and tell us precisely what you've done so far and give us a specific example with a URL.
