Suppressing Sub Category Images

Hi there,
I am currently setting up my first store and have a top level categories called vending machines. When this is selected from the store front it correctly displays the images I have selected for each sub-category. When I click on one of these sub categories it then displays the images I have created for each lower level category but also displays the image from the first sub category. Is there any way to stop this image being displayed?

I have attached a zipped jpeg to better explain the issue.

Can you put in a link so I can take a look see.

I'm pretty sure there's a setting in admin to not display the category images but I want to see the problem first.

I looked at the image you attached to the post.

If it was me, I'd keep that feature, but use a different photo for the category. Maybe a photo of a bunch of soda cans or something... Food items for the food machines, etc.

Now I don't remember exactly where in admin to find that feature so I'll be back once I figure that out. But maybe Kobra will be back to lead the way.

When you created the category you uploaded an image for that category. You should be able to edit the category and remove the link to that image. That should solve the problem.

But remember, you need to do this for all of your categories.

thanks for the comments - I did try and remove the image form the category but unfortunately it seems that the image is also used by the main category, so I lost the images there also.

I also tried to set the sub category image to 0 high by 0 wide - but that turned out not to be such a great idea!
