A few issues with new install

I'm still getting an error to change back permissions on configure.php even though the permissions are changed.

Can't get to the admin.

why aren't the basic images showing up. Thanks

ok, reinstalled, but still have the "I'm still getting an error to change back permissions on configure.php even though the permissions are changed." issue.

Are you changing permissions via ftp or file manager?
Sometimes the permission changes made in ftp don't work and have to be done via file manager. What permission level are you setting it to?

I used ftp first and checked them in the file manager and it reads 644.

Try setting the permissions for both configure files to 444.

Are you changing both the admin/includes and the includes configure files?

The error shows for the includes/configure file
