Long delay in sending email from contact us page after changing servers?

I moved my ZenCart to a new dedicated server and the site is running great, followed the instructions on how to move a site and everything is fine except one issue that I cannot seem to resolve.

When you send an email from the contact us page is take about 2.5 minutes to send???

Old send....instantly..so something is different I just can not figure it out. No errors in the server error logs and no errors in ZenCart (have error module installed and on)

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Fixed!!

The issue was when I changed my host name, sendmail had the old host name still registered on the server...causing this delay.

To fix I ran a couple of sendmail commands to register the new host name....and back to nornmal!
