Buy now sometimes.. input boxes others

On the category products page which displays all the products in a particular category only some of the products have 'buy now' buttons and the rest have an input box that the user is required to enter the quantity of the product that they want > this gives a real inconsistency to my site so... how do I get 'buy now' buttons next to all of the products instead of the input boxes?

You have some products marked as:

Products Quantity Box Shows: No, Do not show Quantity Box
Warning: Does not show Quantity Box, Default to Qty 1

In the Configuration ... Product Listing ... are the configuration settings:

Display Product Add to Cart Button (0=off; 1=on; 2=on with Qty Box per Product)
Do you want to display the Add to Cart Button?

NOTE: Turn OFF Display Multiple Products Qty Box Status to use Option 2 on with Qty Box per Product

Display Multiple Products Qty Box Status and Set Button Location
Do you want to display Add Multiple Products Qty Box and Set Button Location?
0= off
1= Top
2= Bottom
3= Both

Right.. thanks. Least I am in the right area now. But look at it now (link in previous post) - there are 3 add to cart buttons and 3 buy now buttons - how can I get all add to cart buttons with the quantity boxes > I've decided that it would be more sensible.

those products dose not contain anything that customer needs to select , so in product listing , you don't see a link to product detail page . also , your product is set to " No, Do not show Quantity Box "

as a result you see buy now button in listing pages ,
if you want quantity box to show up , you need to go to each product page from admin and change that option .

Fix the Products you have marked as not to show the Product Quantity box and use the settings I gave earlier ...

Set to 2:> Display Product Add to Cart Button (0=off; 1=on; 2=on with Qty Box per Product)

Set to 0:

Display Multiple Products Qty Box Status and Set Button Location

And you will have individual Add to Cart and Quantity input boxes per Product ... :smile:
