Google XML Sitemap Admin

Hi

Can anyone help with this please!!!

Ive installed the Google XML Sitemap Add-On into my Cart.

All works fine all the menu's display and we have no 404 errors.

The problem I am having is when I go to generate a XML Sitemap and press the create button, a new window appears but nothing then happens so im assuming its not generating the sitemap.

Im running version 1.3.8 and cannot find a solution anywhere.

Has anyone elso come across this issue or can anyone throw some light on this for me?

Any advise would be greatly received.

Hi I had the same problem, but solved it by doing the following;

1. Copy the contents of YOUR_ADMIN into my admin dir.
2. Copy the 4 XML files, the gss.xsl, the googlesitemap.php and the license.txt file into the root dir of the shop.

Then I ran the 3 update SQL scripts (dont think I needed to do this as each script told me I was attempting to gen duplicate entries)

Then into Tools>Google Sitemap and ran step one. It worked perfectly.

Maybe, you need to set file CHMOD to 777 or just like that

When the mod installs it sets the permissions to 777 automatically. I think the issue I had was simply that the instructions make no mention of installing the license.txt file, the gss file or even the xml files....once I had figured that bit out it all worked.
