Fresh installation - fatal error

Hi guys,
Bit puzzled I've done a fresh install on a new server. On completion of the intallation I'm getting the folowing message when I try to go to admin:-

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class base in /home/soldout/public_html/includes/classes/class.base.php on line 17

Any ideas? Followed the installation intructions to the dot.

Re: Fresh installation - fatal error

Hi have had a look nothing similar. I've tried deleting and re-transfering the files over using my ftp software in case there was a problem with the transfer earlier. Still the exact same error.

In the Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... in the bottom input box enter:
class base

Select the Catalog/Admin ... click Search ...

What files come up?

Re: Fresh installation - fatal error

If this is a fresh install with no changes etc. I would delete everything from the server and start over by installing the files via your FTP program ...
