issue by installing a new template

I couldn't install the new template normaly. Don't know why, but the platform wouldn't let me. So I did it manualy by installing all data the way I thaught.

I have very less experience with Zencart, so I guess some important files are missing.:huh:

Where did you get this template? There should be instructions with the template, so try installing it again. Please be more specific about what your concerns are.

I did now follow exactly the instructions but it doesn't appear on the selection menu.

1. Copy the "includes" folder to your website. There are no files to override. If you are using a version of zen cart earlier than Zen Cart 1.3.7, there are three files that need to be replaced. See note above.

2. Goto your Zen Cart administration...

Under the "Tools" menu choose
-Template Selection
-Edit
-Choose "Theme 108" from the dropdown menu
-Click update

I did copy the includes folder into the website public_html, and it doesn't appear in the dropmenu.

I cannot replace the original include folder, it won't let me, and I think I shouldn't anyway.

Perhaps I should create inside the include folder another folder?

OK, I checked again the entire folder of the template, and the structure is the folowing:

Template108/includes/templates + modules + languages.

So I copyed, this time, only the folder inside the folder templates/theme108/includes.

Thus, a second includes folder was inside the main theme folder.

Now the template appears on the drop menu and it did update and the new template is there :smile:, but strangely only a few things appear.:blink:

Please have a look. I wonder why even the main menu doesn't appear.:huh:

I went into the laout boxes controller and checked many options that were not active, but still can't find the option that my menu apears.
