Removing products without removing categories

Is it possible to remove products or manufacturers without removing categories. I realized that a lot of my item numbers are messed up after an ez--populate upload, and I'd like to start from scratch without having to setup all the category order or pictures. Thanks

You can remove manufacturers anytime without affecting the category structure.

If you want to remove products from your shop then it is advisable to download your entire present collection of pictures from the server to your local HDD.

Before you do any of the above, backup your DB and shop!

Depending on how many products you have, you could also edit them one by one if there are not too many. Either way - you are embarking on a tedious job....
