adding an "about us" link for the information banner box

I'm using Zen Cart 1.3.8a
Database Patch Level: 1.3.8
for my store at http://www.flyboyaccessories.com

I'd like to add an "about us" page and link to the "Information" banner box. I put a copy of a .php file in my /store/includes/languages/english/html_includes/ directory which allows me to see and edit in with the "define pages editor"

so, how do I make it show up in the store?

It seems like this should be easy, but I'm stumped.

A fun and exciting way to see how zen cart structure works and functions

1. I believe you will half to edit 5 or 6 .php files
2. The easiest way to do this is clone the files for one of the heading under Information
3. EX: Privacy Notice
4. admin panel/ tools/ developers tool kit
5. search for: Privacy
6. admin/catalog
7. click search
8. Here you will notice all the files that Privacy Notice is associated with
9. Paste and copy sections of privacy notice
10. then rename the structure for about us
11. Ex:
12. define('BOX_TOOLS_DEFINE_PRIVACY','Privacy');
13. You will copy this and add a line under this called
14. define('BOX_TOOLS_DEFINE_ABOUT_US','About Us');

I made a valiant attempt to copy files, folders, and lines to get an "About Us" link to appear in the site map and on the sidebar. Using the developer's toolkit certainly helped find the files, folders, and lines, but I've missed something somewhere.

I can see the "About Us" page when I edit with the "define pages editor". I also checked the "define page status" but found no "About Us" page listed there.

Can anyone offer tips on where I've gone off the track here?

P.S. At least everything else is (apparently) still working! A few months ago, I would have certainly screwed up lots of other things!
