How to move the header search box to the tagline

As title says, im trying to move the search box, im assuming its in tpl_header.php i have tried various different places in that file and can get the search box above the tagline and below it but within it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: How to move the header search box to the tagline

What you're trying to do will make sense to you as you can see your site. But makes little sense to anybody who doesn't know what template you're using, where your tag line is located or even which of the search boxes you're trying to move.

I'm also a bit puzzled because the tag line is simply text. You can't really move a search box into a line of text.

A link to the site and some more specifics about what you're trying to achieve would help us to help you.

Re: How to move the header search box to the tagline

I'd recommend moving one of your search blocks into the tagline wrapper and deleting the other one.

Then move the background color from the tagline to the tagline wrapper.

Re: How to move the header search box to the tagline

The same principals you used to move the logo are used to move the other parts and pieces of the header. there is no need to start a new thread.

Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.

Would this be in tpl_header or in css.

Re: How to move the header search box to the tagline

Ive been moving the code around, and i just cant seem to get it to work, if i were to leave the search box above the tag line, what would this new line be called so i can find it in the css to edit the background colour and also add the text to it. In theory it will be like producing my own custom tagline so i have no idea where to make the edits.
