Adding name to newsletter subscription signup

I have version 1.3.7. 2 questions concerning the newsletter subscription signup:

1. Is there a way to request the person's name in addition to their e-mail address (we like to personalize each newsletter)?

2. Where do I change the wording for the page where it says "Thank you for taking a moment to subscribe to our Newsletter."?

1. yes, you can, but you will half to edit the file and hard code, echo the subscribers first name...

Thank you, I tried using the Developers Toolkit, it didn't find the file with that wording or "You'll receive notices of newly available products, special offers, and news of upcoming showings" I tried it in all of the different search areas. Any other suggestions?

On your 1st post did you find the wording you were wanting to change with the web developers tool kit?

1. Did you download the mod called Newsletter signup???
2. If so.
