PHP 5.2.9 -- Will It Break Zencart?

We are wanting to upgrade PHP to 5.2.9

Will this break our Zen Cart?

Here's our config details:

Server OS: Linux 2.6.18-8.el5 (CentOS 5)
Database: MySQL 5.0.22
PHP Version: 5.1.6 (Zend: 2.1.0)
HTTP Server: Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS)
Zen Cart 1.3.6
Database Patch Level: 1.3.6

you might need to update a few files ( includes/functions/sessions.php )

but you should be OK, you really should do the quick step and update to 1.3.8 and I can then tell you NO 5.2.9 is not an issue

Any version of PHP 5.2x will break any version of Zen Cart pre 1.3.8.

Although using the "includes/functions/sessions.php" file from 1.3.8a will help with some problems, I agree with Merlin that it is best to update Zen Cart -- which should be done before uprading PHP.
