Product in store but not in catalog

I'm not even sure how this is possible. I'm helping a friend who has a digital scrapbook store. She uploaded a new product today and entered the information into Zen. When she was in the middle of linking to other categories, apparently her connection was interrupted -- she ended up with a blank screen, refreshed to no avail, ended up hitting the back key a couple of times, and thought she would have to start over. Then she noticed the product was actually showing up in the store. It's there, she even purchased it with a coupon and downloaded it -- but you cannot find it when you're looking through the catalog in admin. we searched the product name, the product ID, the model number, and never got a result.

Find the products_id number for it ...

Search via phpMyAdmin the products table and see if there is a master_categories_id ...

Search via phpMyAdmin the products_to_categories table ... is the products_id in there and is it with a valid categories_id ...

Once all is right in the world ... go to the Zen Cart Admin and see if you can find it ... once found ... edit and update the product so that it fixes the products_price_sorter field that may also have an error ...
