Hiding login div - Is this okay?

I am using javascript to hide the returning customer login div, since most customers will be new customers, and I want to clean up the signup/login page a bit

It appears to be working (not using ssl at the moment). Does anyone see any problems with setting this up this way?

Thanks.

Although I don't see any problems with your proposed setup, why not use the Split Page login?

Admin > Configuration > Layout Settings
Use split-login page = true

The learning is in the doing.

Re: Hiding login div - Is this okay?

Just less clicks to checkout is all. I have FEC as well.

I wish we could get everything on one page, and get a one page checkout (don't care for the ajax versions where everything is collapsed... i think those are confusing).

Thanks for the feedback.
