Product Images

Hi i've been working to try multiple images as well but don't seem to work.

I have posted under public_html/images

the Antilekbeker1.gif

Under the file public_html/images/medium

i have posted Antilekbeker1_MED.gif

But at the product it still shows only Antilekbeker1.gif

If anyone could help me out

Have read the tutorials but still not getting through me :)

Re: Product Images

Have you tried Image Handler 2? That's really the best way to achieve this, plus your images will load faster for the consumer. There is a fantastic support thread for this module, also.
Hope this helps.

Re: Product Images

I think I might see the problem......in "includes\templates\template_default\common\tpl_header.php", find this section:

<!--bof-branding display--><div id="logoWrapper">    <div id="logo"><a href="http://xclusive4u.com/"><img src="includes/templates/classic/images/" alt=""></a></div></div><br class="clearBoth"><!--eof-branding display-->
``` and fix this (there's no image defined here....only the image folder): ```
<img src="includes/templates/classic/images/" alt="">
``` Hope this does the trick.

Re: Product Images

No, not ADD code..................FIX this part of the code:

<img src="includes/templates/classic/images/" alt="">

See, after the images/", there's no image there (like logo.gif), so it's just pointing to you image FOLDER, and NOT an image.

If no other image is needed there, as it looks as if your logo is in the middle of the page, then just delete that section of code making the whole thing look like:

<!--bof-branding display--><div id="logoWrapper">    <div id="logo"><a href="http://xclusive4u.com/"></a></div></div><br class="clearBoth"><!--eof-branding display-->

Hope this clears it up a bit more.

Re: Product Images

I however only see this in the tpl_header file right directory.

<!--bof-branding display-->
<div id="logoWrapper">
    <div id="logo"><?php echo '<a href="' . HTTP_SERVER . DIR_WS_CATALOG . '">' . zen_image($template->get_template_dir(HEADER_LOGO_IMAGE, DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'images'). '/' . HEADER_LOGO_IMAGE, HEADER_ALT_TEXT) . '</a>'; ?></div>
<?php if (HEADER_SALES_TEXT != '' || (SHOW_BANNERS_GROUP_SET2 != '' && $banner = zen_banner_exists('dynamic', SHOW_BANNERS_GROUP_SET2))) { ?>
    <div id="taglineWrapper">

:wacko:

Re: Product Images

Sure, tony, I can see where it lost you (on the switch) in post #5, it says "Hm i still see a problem in Internet Explorer, on the left corner of the banner it gives an error [x] image. Which i cant seem to find :(.

Don't see it in Firefox though. "

And that's how the topic got changed.

I hate to miss some little something like that.........it always leaves you wondering what the Hell somebody is talking about. That should ease your mind, though.:smile:

I think that it's probably just the logo trying to show, when they actually have no logo, as it's all made into the header image.

Re: Product Images

Nice catch tony. Man, I've been away from ZC WAY too long, to have missed that.......and I looked for a while :(.
But, that's what happens when ya get old and senile....you walk away for a few months, and have to learn a lot of it all over again. It's not that us old folks are stupid, it's that we have to learn twice as much today, because we've done forgot half what we learned yesterday!
