Accessing Old Control Panel After Moving Site

I moved my site to a new server and want to access the old site. I tried accessing the config.php files in both /includes and admin/includes and changing every instance of http://mysitename.com to the temporary access # from my old sitehost http://d1974781.u37.hosting-advantage.com but I still can't see the old site or log in. Any suggestions?

Do you have a dedicated IP at your old host?

Thanks for responding. I changed the configure.php files in /includes and admin/includes to what the old site's address became when I my site to another server. I got the info from my old webhost. The address with them changes from MYSITE.com to MYSITE.hosting-advantage.com.
The other problem was that my failed attempts to reinstall zen cart had blanked out my database. My provider backs up databases for 45 days and told me they had restored it. When I examined the database, I realized they HADN'T restored it. It wasn't that I was incorrectly accessing it, it was that it was empty. I pointed that out to them and they correctly reinstalled a backup copy.

Now everything's honky dory! (could I be any cornier?)
