Add to cart not there

I don't get it.....

Some can be done in the stylesheet

Where are you getting the figures of $25.00 ?

here do you mean that modifying ***just ***the tpl_shopping_cart_default.php file is enough to hide the pricing in the shopping cart & checkout proceedure?

Does each template come with it's own tpl_shopping_cart_default.php file that would need to be modified separately?:blink:

Ok, I've downloaded the tpl_shopping_cart_default.php file from the following location:
/includes/templates/template_default/info_shopping_cart/
now what?:unsure:

The $25.00 was just and example of what I see in the View Source when I have a $25.00 product in the cart ...

You can mask the numbers by controlling things in the stylesheet or by controlling things in the template ...

In your templates and overrides, you only need files that you are actually going to change ... if you are not changing a file, you would not put a copy there ...

To completely configure all of the built in settings and write all of the customizations for making your Zen Cart shop a Quote Request System where customers can "order the products" they want and then go through the checkout to send the "requested quote" to you is going to take some work ...

Without completly writing all of this, it is hard to break down ever single step needed for you ...

Do you know php or know how to work with the css to control things by the stylesheet?

As I say, this is a fun project to make, but it is quite a bit of work ...

so, I've spent the past few days looking through the coding of the different .php and .css files. (I've installed a new template BTW) and I tried to delete whatever there was to do with pricing & totals in the following files (stylesheet.css is of the new template):

• tpl_shopping_cart_default.php
• stylesheet
• tpl_checkout_payment_default.php

but **still **the pricing and totals appear in the checkout process:dontgetit

where then, is the display of the pricing and totals being sourced from?
