Disable Credit Card Option on Payment Method

Hi Guys
Im stuck
On the Payment Method page, there is a Credit Card Option even though i have turned everything off for Credit Cards.

How do I remove this option as I do not have a way of processing credit cards at this time?

All options are turned off (RED DOT) next to everything except for payPal Express.

I duplicated this procedure on my demo site
Running 1.3.8a

I have all the payment mods off except paypal express.
When I log in, and go to checkout Page 2 show me only paypal, No other credit cart option at all.

Have you altered any tpl file..???????

1. tpl_checkout_payment_default.php
2. Did you try to log out then log back in, to see if it is a cache issue..

I am using one of the templates in the template section of the zen website.

Maybe that could be causing the issue.

Take time and Winmerge the two files called:

tpl_checkout_payment_default.php

I Had the same issue. I had both Paypal express checkout and paypal website payments pro enabled and it was still showing credit card boxes on my site.

I turned off Paypal Website Payments Pro and it's fixed now :)

That's because "Website Payments Pro" IS a Credit Card module.

I 've seen the posts for disabling CC but I couldn't manage to disable the CC module from my eshop.

I have disabled and uninstalled the credit card module.

The only payment methods I have installed are the

1. PayPal Website Payments Pro
2. PayPal Express Checkout
3. Cash on Delivery

But when I preview my eshop, I can see the credit card choice. I don't wish to uninstall the paypal method.

I really need to disable it, since there is an error about merchant, when a customer uses the CC method.

Can you give me detailed guidelines, since I'm a niewbie... Would really appreciate it!!!

Please hurry!!!! I need it yesterday!!!! :D

   PayPal Website Payments Pro is a Credit Card module. If you can't use it, you should click Remove on it.

Customers can use their credit card to pay when using PayPal Express Checkout, but they'll enter their card details on the PayPal site instead of on yours.
