HELP Site Down Redirected to nddbc.html 0 DB_ERROR_NOT_CONNECTED

Was working last night when I hit the hay, woke up this morning and my site redirects me to the nddbc.html page (Sorry!
There seems to be a problem connecting to our database. Please give us a few minutes to remedy the problem. Thank you.)

My admin pages return this DB error:

0 DB_ERROR_NOT_CONNECTED
in:
[select * from project_version WHERE project_version_key = 'Zen-Cart Database' ]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

I can't contact my host as they're in USA and not 24/7... Anyone know what can be wrong? I can still FTP.

Mysql server is offline ..

Yes, it sure is.... I guess I need to wait for my hosting company to get back to the office... Tried to access DB via CPanel but they're offline as there's no DB's in the dropdowns :-(

Couldn't have happened at a worse time!! I sent a 15,000 e-mail mailshot last night, traffic was swarming.... Now this.

sorry to hear that .. when it comes to computer , anything can happen :( , now is just matter of your host figuring why server gone offline

Actually what happened is that c-panel choked on an upgrade,
and we were working on it,

and YES we are in the office on Saturday and Sunday
