How do I add inventory by product attributes such as size?

I'm a newbie and am trying to finalize my store. I have gone through every FAQ and the Zen Cart book by Goh Koon Hoek, I need to add products by sizes and keep my inventory by sizes.

I added a category, then a product and then the attribute size with option values of small, medium and large; but I can't find out how to add my inventory to the sizes. :frusty:

I''m running Zen Cart 1.3.8a with dbase level patch 1.3.8.

I'm running on Linux server with the following:

Server Host: gator506.hostgator.com
Server OS: Linux 2.6.28.9 Database: MySQL 5.1.30
