Google Checkout Not Adding Tax to Orders

I haven't received a resolution to this in the GCO support thread so I thought I'd post outside the thread. Has anyone been able to resolve the issue with sales tax not being added to the appropriate orders even with the tax tables filled out within Google Checkout? It seems others were having this problem and I never did find a resolution posted.

I ran into this same issue. This fixed it:

After you have entered your Tax Classes, Zone Definitions and Tax Rates in Zen Cart; open up phpMyAdmin to edit your zen cart database. Browse the zones_to_geo_zones table. Compare the zones_id column in the zones_to_geo_zones table to the zone_id column in the zones table. I found that it was not pointing to the correct zone (my entry should have had the zone_id for California but instead it had the zone_id for Florida). I changed the zone_id in the zones_to_geo_zones table and now it works fine.

I'm not sure how this is supposed to work but this fixed it for me.

Note that this solution doesn't use the tax tables that you set inside of the Google Checkout Administrator.
