Download Zip from SourceForge (via vodaphone) - No files to extract? What?

I'm trying to dowload the latest version of the Zen Cart andI've tried verious mirrors direct links and everything I can do via sourceforge.

But when I use windows to do the normal extract of the zip file it says no files present.

The Zip file shows plenty of Kb in it and the file Kb size comes across over the USB mobile connection I use, so something is being downloaded. I have even tried it on 2 different computers to see if its not an issue with a specific computer.

When downloading from sourceforge the bar at the top of windows alerts for the download which I click and accept so its nothing there...

is anyone having the same problems????

No, but one option would be to use a different archiver program. I'm a big fan of WinRAR.

Thanks, but when it unstacks it should show a whole bunch of sub folders with lots of php files in them?

I'm going to try using another browser, might sound strange but IE7 has gone nuts recently. I scan and do everything to my computer sohopefully there's not something :censored: on my laptop..

Yes, of course you should see lots of subfolders and lots of php files. What were you expecting? .exe files?

Yes, not one big file that has no extension, its like WTF!!!

The zip off sourceforge is WinRAR so extracting it with WinRAR should work, but its just as bad as WinZIP. Nothing works, really weird, I mean I'm using 2 did computers and one I haven't used for like a year so its clean.

I'm stumped, I've done phpbb boards before so this should be easy.

I cant imagine how would you download the php files straight, php files are processed by the server (unless you tell the server not to do so). And in any case, there are just so many of them.

Something wrong must be on your end, either the comps, the softwares or the connection itself.

Thanks all, I have found out the cause. Its my Vodafone mobile connection, basically it is trashing zipped files. I am not sure whether its to do with a "parental guidance" block they have (yeah, I have to go in to one of there stores and show ID to get it removed, sheeze, if it actually worked correctly then why the :censored: :censored: doesit block my ability to even talk to the nice help desk people at hostgator) vodafone are a joke, I hate them. (You have to be damned 18 to have this account on your credit card anyway... sheeze...)

Anyway, using Three broadband mobile works and I get lots of nice php files..... :clap:
