Multiple shipping costs as table rate

Does anyone know how i can do the following:

When a user orders multiple items, the shipping costs are added together depending on the number of items.

e.g. if a user order one CD, they are charged £5. If a user orders 2 CD's, they are charged £2.50 for the additional item. So the final shipping cost is £7.50.

When i use the table rate, the first item is £5 but when i add another item, it drops to £2.50.
I need it to add all the costs together, so three items will be £10, (£5 + £2.50 + £2.50).

Re: Multiple shipping costs as table rate

Table Rates is setup for how much based on the number of Items, Shipping Weight or the Order Total ...

The settings are not how much to add together, but how much to charge for that setting ...

If you want to charge $5.00 for the first item then $2.50 after that, use the Item Rate item shipping module and set the Handling to 2.50 and the Unit Rate to 2.50 ...
