Can Zen Cart do this?

OK, am on my 4th cart trying to solve this problem, and am getting a little mixed up in my head on all the cart logistics.

My site sells a personalized product.

So would want to have price breaks based on quantity.

Certain fees are a one time fee, and customer would select one of 3. Drop down. Such as

Full Screen Charge $40.00
Repeat order Screen Charge $20.00
Blank (No Screen Charge) $0
One of these would HAVE to be selected - and in the order process, not as a handling fee in ship out process.

Can Rush shipping fees be assigned based on time frame. Ie if you need in 2 weeks it is $25.00 rush fee plus $10.00/100

and can you do this on a per state deal, I am in NC, and it costs me more to ship to CA, then to Va.

FTR, been researching and messing with this for 3 days, so I am trying.

You would add these as attributes - What has no screen charge??
Each of these would be an attribute with "please choose" as default/for display only. This forces the logic to require one to be selected - maybe not the correct one though

Please Choose
Full Screen Charge $40.00
Repeat order Screen Charge $20.00

I would separate shipping from "Rush"
Make an attribute for Delivery or another name you prefer and spell out in description what rush and normal entails
Also, off the top you might require other qty price discounts for normal and rush

Let the shipping module/method you use scale the distance factor

• Select the product
• Edit
• click the "add 5 blank discounts" button
• fill in the details
• Update

I have spent 10 minutes, including "FIND" looking for add 5 blank discounts button. Nowhere to be found. ON the other hand, it is not a discount, but a charge, maybe a negative discount?

After selecting a product there is an edit "button" you need to click. The "add 5 blank discounts" button will be shown near page bottom.

In the admin>catalog>categoies/product
click on the category with the product you want to work on
DO NOT CLICK ON THE PRODUCT
over on the right you will see an icon with a $ on it, click it
next page scroll down, click edit
next page scroll down and you will see the "add blank discounts" button

this is the other way to get to the products price manager screen

the other way you quoted could use some clarification

Admin -> Catalog -> Products Price Manager

• choose category from dropdown
• Select a Product to View and Press Display ...
• scroll down and you will see 2 edit buttons, click either
• scroll down, click the "add 5 blank discounts" button
• fill in the details
• Update

OK, got that. But those are discounts. I want to ADD charges.

So a dropdown with either the $40.00 charge, the $20.00 charge or $0.00 charge.
