Manage subcategories display

Dear all,
After a while I searched the forum, I didn't find the answer, so I would like to ask for your help.

1/ How to disable (not to display) count number (next to categories and subcategories) ?

2/ How to change font-size of categories and subcategories, I want different font-sizes and colors for categories and subcategories.

Your answer(s) appreciated.
Tim

Re: Manage subcategories display

  1. Admin/configuration/my store/Show Category Counts
  2. Look at the Categories Dressing Mod.

Re: Manage subcategories display

Thank limelites for your answers.

I just tried to use Categories Dressing Mod as you advised. The thing I want is ... to have category names displayed as large font-size and subcategories display with smaller font-size.

I did as belows:

1/ Download package from Mr. gjh42 and unzip
2/ Copied 3 new files into appropriate folders as shown in guidelines.
3/ Modified /includes/templates/tim/sideboxes/tpl_categories.php
(where tim is my customized folder):

  //=== added by Tim
  case ($box_categories_array[$i]['path'] == 'cPath=1'):
    $new_style = 'medicine';
    break;
 //===============

Note: cPath=1 is the id of my category

4/ Modified /includes/templates/tim/css/stylesheet_categories_dressing.css

added:

#categories li.cat-medicine a {
border-top: 3px dotted #112233;
background-color: red;
color: #112233;
padding: 1em 0em;
}

5/ Upload all the updated files to server.

Result: I don't see any change.

Please, advise me if I made any mistakes in using the mod ?

Thank you.

Tim
