how to get to includes/languages/english/YOUR_TEMPLATE_NAME/meta_tags.php ??

a friend has zen cart and has given me admin rights to use keywords etc to improve visability on the net but i want to use site wide meta tags but unsure have to get to this on admin site..................includes/languages/english/YOUR_TEMPLATE_NAME/meta_tags.php
The references to "YOUR_TEMPLATE_NAME" mean that you should use the name of the folder of your custom template that you've built for your site.
can anyone help? in easy to read instructions plz would much appreciate it

If you friend custom made his own template, then all his zencart template files would but within that folder.

So, instead of YOUR_TEMPLATE_NAME, he named his template folder myraddesign or something.

The default template is classic. There is also a template_default folder too. So, there may be a third one, if your friend did his own template. You just need to ask him.

Then you FTP into his site, download the meta_tags.php file you referenced, fill in the appropriate keywords, description, etc ... re-upload the file, and you're done.

However, you can also log into the cart Admin and go to each category, sub-category and product and have each of those pages have their own page title, meta description, and meta keywords ... which is more desirable.

Not accessible/editable from the admin

FTP the file to you PC, edit with a plain text editor only, save and FTP to the /includes/languages/english/your_template/ folder
Create it if it does not currently exist
