HELP !!! Main Catagory Page Not Displayed.

shortly after installing reward suit and other many mod,

i realise that my main catagory page is missing and it dun display at all.

take a look

the main page is still there and the site did not load the main catalog page as required.

using v1.3.8a

Your question does not explain what the problem is that you are having and the images do not help ...

Perhaps you could type very, very slowly and we might better understand the problem and help you in some manner ... :smile:

Ok guys

First thing, when you click on a Parent Category,

it will be redirected to their parent category page where you can see an overview of the particular sub categories.

However today, when i access my site, i realise that my parent category link does not redirect to that overview page,.....

instead, it was STUCK at main page, with just the breadcrumb changes.

Any idea why i CANNOT access my particular parent category page ?

You might want to make sure you have the right category id imbedded in the menu.

Naughty works as it should.

When you hover over a non-working main category, it gives a link in the lower left-hand corner of firefox. the cPath should be the category unless someone has hard-coded in a wrong number.

I suspect the hard coding error as the Naughty link works.

i see, is there anyway i can change that ?

i was installing short description module 1.2 jst now:)

so how do i go about changing it ? :)

With all due respect, I'd stop loading mods until I had it working at least close to what I wanted.:shocking:

And... if you don't know how to edit a file, that would be another reason for not adding mods.

Thirdly, with all the mods you have done, it's impossible for us to do much to help as we cannot see the file(s).

Perhaps if you placed a request in Commercial Help Wanted?

well dbltoe, i am certainly aware i am doing
the database problem is already fixed.

despite installing the short description module, the category problem have not go away yet
well, if you can help out, i am certainly let you see the files.

i was just asking if i have set any problems /config wrongly in the admin panel.
