Notifications sidebox font size reduction

Hello,

Does anyone know how to reduce the font size of the product notifications sidebox only. I know that you can reduce it by reducing the product title font size but i don't want that. I just want to reduce the font size for the notification box content only.

Re: Notifications sidebox font size reduction

Depending on what template you're using and its css, there could be a couple of ways. A look at the URL would help the most.

Re: Notifications sidebox font size reduction

add a "#productnotificationsContent a" call to the css and put your font size in there.

Please remember that, with all a calls, there's also visited and hover that might need to be addressed.

Re: Notifications sidebox font size reduction

Let's say I set any hover to 1.2em and visited gets set to 1.0em and then I decide to lower the font for just that one sidebox to 1.0em. Every time I hover over the text in the sidebox, It would "jump" to 1.2 em. Some folks think of it as an attention step. I think of it as a lack of attention to detail. You never know what's gonna move around because of it.

Therefore, if you have already set hover and visited to the same size as the sidebox, there's no need to change anything, But, if hover and visited are different elsewhere, I'd add them to the size call as well.

Re: Notifications sidebox font size reduction

Ok thanks. Just one last thing. The font size in firefox and chrome always diplay smaller than in IE? is there any solution to this so that they display the same size? In chrome its the worst as my menu fonts appear way too small?:frusty:

You've heard the expression, "Do what I mean, NOT what I said?"
I trust firefox more that I ever would IE, BUT even though firefox is better, you need to fix the "little thigs" firefox will overlook and IE won't. http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.globalmemory.co.uk%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0 will get you started.
Also, search the forum on frames and their possible damage to traffic in an ecommerce setting.

Re: Notifications sidebox font size reduction

do you know how to increase the width of the center boxes such as also purchased and new products as there is a bigger margin on the right than the left. If not, then i would like to center it to make the margins even on both sides.
